Directing is amazing because you get to imagine a whole. Damn. World.

As a director, I always try to take the most unconventional and least practical approach (in the cheapest way possible, I promise). I’ve been blessed to be able to reimagine Shakespeare plays as pool parties and bring Sondheim into the ACTUAL woods.

Educational directing is a huge passion of mine. Working with AspirePAC, I’ve directed kids ages 7-22* (*not children) fully-realized plays and musicals. Aspire has a close relationship with MTI — we pilot many of their new, unreleased scripts. Usually, the kids teach me as much (maybe more) than I teach them.
